"Energy and Environment" Discussion Group in Basel
More than 400 guests were welcomed to the "Energy and Environment" Discussion Group at Basel's Congress Centre on 11 January 2011. This year's topic was "The Energy Future: Knowledge? Action!" In their speeches, Professors Renate Schubert and Roland Scholz from the Federal Institute of Technology in Zürich deliberated on the delicate balancing act between economy and ecology. In the Directors' Round, CEOs of the organising companies Alpiq, IWB, EBL and EBM answered questions put by the moderator and then questions from the floor.
