By taking over Schwarz + Partner AG, Alpiq InTec will benefit from the many years of expertise of its employees relating to electrical installation projects and communication services. With this involvement Alpiq InTec is significantly strengthening its market presence in the Basel area and is undertaking another step towards offering all services from a single source as a comprehensive building technology supplier.
To the EBM senior management it was important that the sale of Schwarz + Partner could be arranged in a socially responsible manner for everyone affected. To this end and as part of a long-term, optimal solution, Schwarz + Partner in the Basel area and all of the approximately 150 employees were taken over by Alpiq InTec with effect from 1 January 2014. The key financial data remains confidential.
All employees and apprentices remain employed as before. Ongoing orders will be transferred as per their contracts; existing guarantees and liabilities will be complied with.
