Riva Valdobbia small-scale hydropower plant (Alpiq Hydro Italia S.r.L.)

The clear waters of the River Vogna in the Italian region of Piedmont are revered among anglers as the cradle of fly fishing. In the winter sports resort of Monte Rosa, not far from the source of the river, the small hydroelectric power station generates environmentally friendly electricity.
