Monte Mele wind farm (Enpower 2 S.r.L.)

The Monte Mele wind farm is located next to the same named photovoltaic system and has a unique view of the Mediterranean Sea. The wind farm is in operation since 2005 and consists of 11 wind turbines in the territories of Agrigento and Realmonte in the Sicilian province of Agrigento. Alpiq took over the wind farm in 2018. It provides an output of about 9 MW.
